Admissions FAQ

We invite all ECC students who love learning and want to be part of a supportive, challenging academic community to apply to the Honors Program.

To stay in the program, students must maintain a 3.25 GPA each semester and complete at least three credit hours of honors courses in their first two semesters, plus three more each following year.

Guaranteed Admission:

• New students: Meet one of the following:

  • High school GPA of 3.5 or higher

  • ACT® 25 or higher

  • SAT 1230+ (or 1710+ if taken before March 2016)

• Current ECC students: Completed 6+ college-level credits with a 3.25+ GPA

• Transfer students: Completed 6+ college-level credits at another college with a 3.25+ GPA

Note: The Honors Program is not currently available to dual credit students due to scheduling and registration limits.
