Choosing a major is one of the most important decisions you will make, and we want to make sure that you have the necessary information to make a well-informed decision. Increased self-awareness and current knowledge of the job market can help you make informed decisions about your career and educational planning. It’s okay not to have your career decision finalized, but it’s not okay to expect things to fall into place without doing something about it. You need to be actively involved in your own education and career planning!

Through career assessments, one-on-one meetings, and other resources, ECC will work with you to explore career options that will lead you to a career that you are passionate about. You can also look over the tools offered online such as Career Coach to take a free career assessment immediately, or review the list of available areas of study

Schedule a 50-minute appointment with a career development specialist. You’ll learn to combine what you know about yourself with various career options in a supportive environment with a career development specialist dedicated to your success. Please schedule your appointments online via the accessECC Student Portal or by calling 847-214-7390.
